Welcome to Apple Tree Nursery
We believes that each child is unique and activities are planned around their individual needs and interests. Children are supported to learn and develop and to make the most of their abilities. The children play in a happy, safe and secure environment alongside staff who ensure that all children are included. There is a secure outdoor play area that the children can access throughout the day. The nursery has its own minibus enabling us to take the children on outings.

Our Learning Environment
Our Learning Environment both indoor and outdoors provides challenge and opportunities to explore exciting learning possibilities. Apple Tree Nursery provides a flexible and stimulating environment to fully engage children in their learning. Our aim is to provide a unique positive learning environment within the nursery, the outdoors and the wider community. We will continuously celebrate children’s achievements and promote inclusion. diversity and respect.
Learning Experiences
Our aim in to enable each child in our care to develop to their full potential socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually in a stimulated, secure and safe environment. To enable children to become successful learners, confident individual, responsible citizens and effective contributers. At Apple Tree Nursery we treat every child as an individual, giving them support, challenge and care in a way that build confidence and extends learning. The staff have a good knowledge of children’s learning and development. Staff use the curriculum for excellence and pre birth to 3 to plan learning activities and experiences. They continually observe children to ensure that the experiences and activities provided are suited to the needs of each individual child as well as being stimulating and challenging. Staff compile tracking sheets for each individual child (observations) to note their achievement and to plan their next steps in learning. All learning experiences are planned in accordance with local and national guidelines, to allow staff to make specific observations.
